My Top 5 places to eat in Puerto Aventuras have something for every palette. One of the best traits of Puerto Aventuras is the inbound of vacationers from around the world into a small beach town. I also wrote a blog on Top 5 Things to do in Puerto Aventuras here!
This influx of diversity is reflected in the incredible food options in Puerto Aventuras. While this list is by no means exhaustive, here are my personal Top 5 Places to Eat in Puerto Aventuras.
1. Tuk Tuk Thai Food (THAI)

Chef Jenji from Bangkok, Thailand has created a quaint spot right beside the marina to serve you the best foods of Thailand.
Thai food is exotic. Unique. An explosion of flavors in your mouth.
Here you can have many staple Thai dishes made from home. All sauces, chilis, spices are made from scratch to preserve its authentic flavor!

2. El Arbolito (MEXICAN)

One of the best authentic taco places in all the Riviera Maya is right at the entrance of Puerto Aventuras.
Tacos de Guisado are from Mexico City and it was one of my favorite tacos in Mexico! Think of street food that you can quickly have while on the go. Much like the hot dog stands in metropolitan cities across North America. But only Mexican. While in CDMX, these taco stands are on every street corner and always bustling all day and night long.
It has a dynamic variety of fillings from eggs, chicken, pork, beef, etc… And with loads of different toppings and spices, you literally have dozens of possible combinations!
El Arbolito has the best Tacos de Guisado I have had outside of Mexico city.
Come say hi to Mary Lou and Jose while you have your tacos!
If you like tacos, I honestly think you have to visit El Arbolito and bring an empty stomach!
3. Marc’s Bistro (FRENCH MEXICAN BREAKFAST)

If there is one thing the French love, it is their bistros! Marc is a well-recognized chef from France and had been doing private events till now.
You can now come to discover the secrets of Marc’s culinary creations in his bistro!
This bistro also has top notch pastries and coffee. It has a very laid-back and open atmosphere in the covered terrace or outdoor patio with relaxing French bistro music in the background.
This is a very popular spot and with good reason why!

If you feel hungry after visiting Dolphin Discovery Puerto Aventuras, and craving a good Italian pizza or seafood, then you should have a meal at this restaurant.
Napoli Italy is the birthplace and the place to get some of the best pizza. I had a Michelin starred Magherita pizza in Napoli and it was one of my best experiences in Italy.
Now you may have a similar Magherita pizza in Puerto Aventuras thanks to owner, Alex from Napoli!

Cafe Ole International has been a staple in Puerto Aventuras for over a decade. The atmosphere is open and festive.
Owner, Eduardo has achieved his goal of bringing different foods from around the world to a central spot on the Marina. There are many specials to choose from.
There is live music also in the evenings to create the festive ambience.

I have travelled through Italy from Venice in the North through Sicily in the very South. Do you know what Italians do on a cold day? They have gelato. 
Do you know what Italians do on a hot day? They have gelato. Gelato is a religion as much as pizza is in Napoli. The owner of Aventura Gelato is Andrea (Pictured above) from San Marino in Italy. He and his team have perfected the art of authentic Artisanal Gelato. In 2015, they won 1st Place in the “Caviezel Award” Nivarata Festival in Sicily. In 2017, they won 2nd Place in the “Caviezel Award” Nivarata Festival in Sicily. In 2022, they won 1st Place in the “Mexico Artisanal Ice Cream Championship” in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
While their delicious gelatos are decadent for human consumption, there are even special pooch or dog-specific gelatos for your canines. We have complimentary water for your cats.

Why do I recommend this taqueria? Simple. It has really good carnitas and tortas in Puerto Aventuras! Don’t be surprised to see dolphins while you are eating. Buen provecho!
